i am working on a letter to answer this question:

but in the meantime, i wanted to tell you about my event next week.

(i know i should potentially have a separate letter for promotional things but honestly, i do not have the capacity for that right now–so i appreciate you sticking with me even if this isn’t your vibe)

i am having my first book release celebration in a long time (since 2018!) along with jess janz (writer, facilitator, founder of dinner with strangers) on thurs. nov. 28 from 7 - 9 pm.

it’s at a very sweet art space and café called studio 27 in kitchener.

tickets are $30 and include a signed copy of my new book, please look into the mirror.

i’ll be reading poems from it, talking about all things writing and feelings and answering your questions.

i’ll also be there before the event (5-7 pm) signing books and chatting with y’all—you don’t need a ticket for this part!

would love to meet you and be in our feels together.

p.s. if you want to come but are worried that you don’t have anyone to bring with you, that’s ok! i know a lot of us poets and readers are lone wolves, but you will be in a space filled with like-minded people. also, i’m going to make an effort to chat with everyone and make you feel comfortable.
