hi omg i randomly stumbled upon your emailing list on tiktok and was like why not lol and i signed up and i actually really look forward to your emails, I’ve only gotten one or two since as i only just subscribed but i love them so much and im grateful they’re free. I enjoy learning about other people’s lives and you sharing the little or big moments of your own life and your own opinions on certain concepts are very interesting for me to read. Learning about your opinions help me feel less alone in this world as im like oh there are people in this world who also think at a similar complexity about life and love as myself. Lol anyways im going through my very first breakup and have been open to anything to work on myself and healing my inner self. So im going to try your poetry prompt although im havent done like any poetry in my life lol.
How do you know if you like someone?
When you smile
My heart, numb to this cold world, starts to melt
And i get that gushy feeling from my chest
It makes me want to throw up honestly
But its exciting
It’s like a shot of heroine straight to my veins
Its scary at first
But the high i get with you is like no other
It makes my monotone world start to flourish with colour little by little.

hey, love the tattoo <3 now i get my sudden urge to slowdown + self care. my hair’s hella long and i always procrastinate when it comes to washing and this time i just went for it, haha! i wrote this in 2016 but the prompt made me remember since it’s along the lines. here’s the poem :

The loud noises of the city seem to go silent
I feel like i could take on the world
